The Fresno Center has been partnering with Fresno Metro Ministry for Food Distributions for a long time now with assistance from ”Food to Share” Neighborhood Market. With direct support from The City of Fresno, CARES Act funding, we are expanding our services to once per week beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020. Additionally, the extra support means we can serve even more residents during these uncertain times.

This event will provide vulnerable individuals and families with emergency food and to help cope through the COVID-19 pandemic. We are here to serve our seniors, single mothers, English language learner (ELL) students, and others who are suffering from economic hardship during these times.

”Since the start of the pandemic, The Fresno Center has ,witnessed Fresno residents struggle with many challenges with food, housing, and necessities. I am ve1y appreciative of the support from the City of Fresno. The plan is to provide 600 boxes of food each week,” Pao Yang, CEO/President.

The Fresno Center onboarded a program manager this week, Brian Vang, and has hired a team to implement the services that begin tomorrow. The Fresno Center is honored to provide jobs while helping feed the community.
