MEDI-CAL Program

HELP WITH ENROLLMENT TO MEDI-CAL

The Fresno Center supports advocacy around increasing heath care access. We conduct presentations to the general public and private organizations, one-on-one education and key information about the Affordable Care Act. This education includes types of health care coverage for families and individuals, such as Medi-Cal or private plans, based on their household size and annual income. We also help individuals and families apply for health care coverage (free of charge), whether they qualify for Medi-Cal.

So what is Medi-Cal?

Medi-Cal is California’s Medicaid health program for people with limited income. With Medi-Cal, family members and friends can get a wide range of free or low-cost medical and dental services. This includes adults, children and people with disabilities. Also include pregnant women, children in foster care, children who are not documented, adults under the age of 25, and adults age 50 and up who are not documented. There are no monthly premiums, no co-pays!
