Many Voices, One Future

Many Voices, One Future

February 28, 2026

Lemongrass Roots and The Fresno Center are proud to present a no-cost, hands-on culinary and cooking workshop designed to celebrate Southeast Asian culture, community, and storytelling through food.

This will be an interactive workshop led by Mr. International Chef Harris Panyanouvong, who will guide participants through the preparation of one of his favorite traditional Lao dishes, Aw Seen. Participants will have the opportunity to learn directly from Chef @mrintharriss Harris as he shares cooking techniques, cultural context, and personal stories connected to the dish.

The purpose of this workshop is to amplify Southeast Asian voices, honor cultural knowledge passed down through generations, and create accessible cultural experiences that strengthen community connection. By centering food as a pathway to healing, learning, and belonging, Lemongrass Roots and The Fresno Center aim to foster holistic understanding rooted in culture, identity, and shared experience.
