The Fresno Center was honored to attend the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the Fresno Cambodian Buddhist Society, commemorating four decades of faith, service, cultural preservation, and community leadership in the Central Valley.

This special milestone brought together community leaders, faith organizations, families, and supporters to celebrate an enduring legacy rooted in compassion, peace, and unity. The anniversary was not only a reflection on the Society's remarkable history, but also a celebration of the countless lives it has touched through spiritual guidance, cultural education, and community engagement.

Founded to serve as both a place of worship and a cultural sanctuary, the Fresno Cambodian Buddhist Society has become an important gathering place for the Cambodian community while welcoming people of all backgrounds to learn about Buddhist traditions, Khmer heritage, and the values of kindness, mindfulness, and understanding. In addition to religious services, the Society offers educational and cultural programs, including Khmer language classes, meditation, Dharma studies, computer education, and youth activities that help preserve Cambodian culture for future generations.

At The Fresno Center, we believe that strong communities are built through partnership, inclusion, and mutual respect.
